I have two potential prototypes in mind, both of the era during the 1950’s:
-
Dominion Atlantic Railway (DAR) division of Canadian Pacific (CP) in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia (NS), between Kentville and Kingsport.
-
Canadian National (CN) on Prince Edward Island (PEI), formerly the Prince Edward Island Railway, from Summerside to Charlottetown, including Borden.
I’m leaning more heavily towards PEI, in spite of my having grown up near the former DAR line, due to my rolling stock and locomotive selection being predominantly that of CN.
